A retailer was experiencing challenges due to an older suite of in-house systems. Although initially brought in to supplement the client staff, QBS consultants quickly identified several issues being caused by the 'silo' applications. In addition, the client's technical environment required consultants with an uncommon and hard to find skillset.  QBS project managers proposed a creative solution to streamline some of the application processes and eliminate redundancies.

Total IT Solution
QBS continues to provide a total IT solution to multiple divisions of a healthcare services provider. The entire staff is located at the QBS offices providing the development and support needs of these organizations. New development has included applications for premium processing, claims processing, scanning, automated sales proposals, customer portals, reporting systems and more. Sharing specific technical skills such as DBA, programming and technical support and project management keep the costs down for each division and provide industry knowledge to each division.

Distribution Process Efficiency
QBS designed and developed a web based line-fulfillment solution allowing customers to directly order product utilizing any of 12 different global express shipping companies. The solution integrated directly with the preferred distribution company, automatically managing the process of shipping product from warehouse to customer site. Because of this customer web portal, the manufacturer significantly increased their business.
