Project Management Institute (PMI®) Family of Credentials: PMI currently has five professional credentials covering program and project management disciplines, as well as risk management and scheduling specialities. PMI launched the Program Management Professional (PgMP®) credential in October 2007. This session will provide an overview—based on first-hand experience—of the PMI family of credentials, with a focus on the PgMP credentialing process, selection criteria, and exam development process, and how the credentials relate to each other. An update on "The Standard for Program Management - Third Edition" will also be provided.
